Garnet Kay Redic

October 5, 1926 — April 27, 2021

Anderson...Garnet Kay (Wyant) Redic, 94, resident of Daleville passed away at the home of her daughter in Anderson on April 27, 2021. She was born October 5, 1926 in Anaconda, Montana to Kathleen and Joseph Wyant.

She married Harry W. Redic on August 24, 1945 in Seattle, WA.  They moved to Valley City, N.D. and settled on a small farm for four years then moved to Daleville, Indiana.

She loved working in a big garden where no weeds were allowed.  She was the best cook and her pies were the best. She bowled in a ladies league for many years. She was always in the sewing room or the kitchen. She loved to watch the Indianapolis Colts and she and Harry were known to love square dancing and fishing where she caught more fish than he did.  She always got the family together for the holidays for a big dinner.  We love you and know you are at peace.  She was a wonderful mother and a great wife.

Kay and Harry had five children, Bob Redic (Gloria) of Double Springs, AL, Dianna Davis of Anderson, Pam Savage of Monroe, TN, Tracy Neal of Muncie and Sherry Redic who has passed away. She had 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She had five brothers: Clinton, Marvin, Jerry, Donald, and Raymond.
