Ft. Lauderdale, FL....G. Dee Sims, 75, resident of Indianapolis and Ft. Launderdale, died April 12, 2005 in Holy Cross Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale unexpectedly.She was born in Shirley, In., January 31, 1930, the daughter of Frank and Audrey Smith Chandler.She was former Presdent and founder of Allied Insurance Companies with her second husband Bill Roe who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Ronnie Williams.She was a member of the Sulphur Springs United Church of Christ and the Sulphur Springs OES and loved playing euchure in local card clubs.Survivors include her husband: Jim Sims of Indianapolis, 3 stepchildren: Stephanie (Paul) Caldwell of South Carolina, Randall Sims of Ft. Wayne, and Scott (Shawnnah) Sims of South Carolina, 2 step grandchildren: Emily and Gabriel Sims of South Carolina and 2 cousins: Eric Hessell and Marilee Allen.She was also preceded in death by a son: Rhett Williams.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
