Frederick "Fred" Lee Mcpheron

Frederick (Fred) Lee McPheron, 77 passed away on Tuesday, September 17,2024. He was born on February 3, 1947 to Grace (Aldrich) Kauffman.
Fred was a 1967 graduate of Daleville High School. He was in the United States Army and served one tour during Vietnam. After 30 years of employment, Fred retired from General Motors and was a lifelong member of the American Legion. He was a man of few words, but if he cared about you though, he would do anything for you.
He is survived by his mother, Grace Kauffman of Greenfield; son, Tony (Megan) McPheron of Daleville; brother, Philip (Kathy) McPheron of Greenfield; sister, Julie (Mike) Turner of Cincinnati; nephew, Jay (Kelly) McPheron of Indianapolis; niece, Jennifer McPheron of Greenfield.
He is preceded in death by his step father, Robert O. Kauffman.
Upon his final demands there will be no services, a cremation will take place upon his request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville.
