Frances Jane Spiker

Middletown...Frances Jane Spiker, 63, resident of Middletown, passed away at her home on Wednesday morning.She was born in Anderson, February 22, 1943, the daughter of Frank and Helen Strickland Begley.She had been a homemaker and worked at the Shenandoah School cafeteria retiring in 1988.She attended the Middletown Church of the Nazarene and had been active in girls softball as a coach.She loved spending most of her time with her grandkids.Survivors include her husband of 45 years: Jerry of Middletown, sons: Troy Spiker (Beth) of Pendleton and Terry Spiker (Rusti) of Hartford City, and 1 daughter: Teresa Geiger (Troy) of Shirley, 1 sister: Marybell Spiker of Middletown, grandchildren: Cody and Cassie Spiker of Pendleton, Megan and Katelyn Spiker of Hartford City and Tiara and Trevor Geiger of Shirley, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law: Sumner Spiker.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C.
