Middletown...Florence Jeanette Strough, 94, resident of Middletown, passed away Thursday morning at Middletown nursing Center.She was born in Middletown, September 17, 1912, the daughter of John L. and Eva Showalter Dasher.She had been a house wife most of her life and lived in Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa before coming back to Middletown.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Nelson Strough, brothers: Fred and Louis Dasher, sisters: Alice Hodson and Opal McKee and nephew: David Dasher.Survivors include: nephews; Darryl Dasher, Randall (Karen) Dasher, Ralph Dasher, Douglas (Kathy) McKee, and Dale (Leatha) Dasher, Nieces: Wilma (Larry) Ehman, Donna Oliver, and Marjorie (Tom) Gates, special friends: Dallas and Sue McKee, Si and Thelma Hoffman, Geneva Marshall, Betty Coby and Paul and Renae Storm.Private services will be held at Ballard and Sons funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown at a later date.There will be no visitation.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
