Daleville....Florence Louise (Murdock) Corn, 95, resident of Daleville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday evening.She was born in Anderson, October 29, 1918, the daughter of Robert and Lille Stevenson Murdock.She had been a housewife for most of her adult life.She lived in Daleville since 1943.She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles, 2 sons: William E. and Charles Jr., sisters: Mildred Raper, Mary Trice, Ina May Hall and Bessie Murdock, brothers: Robert, Ralph, Jim, John, and Ora Murdock.She is survived by her children: Judith (Bill) Botkin of Muncie, Nell (Bill) Alford of Summitville, Ronald (Kim) Corn of Daleville and James (Chris) Corn of Chesterfield, 9 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.A celebration of life service will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Ballard & Sons, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery.Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 6-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers association ( www.alz.org ) or the Salem Township Fire Department.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com and Facebook/Ballard & Sons: Life Celebrations, Counseling, Funerals, CremationThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Florence Corn with family and friends.
