Middletown....Everett Lee Clayton Chambless, 79, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Community Hospital in Anderson after an extended illness.He was born in Mountain View Oklahoma, November 17, 1931, the son of Claude C. and Faye Etchison Chambless.He was a 1950 graduate of Markleville High School and retired from Guide Lamp of General Motors in 1994 after 31 years of services as a die setter.He moved to Middletown in 1969 and was a member of the Bass Club, Middletown Conservation Club, Eagles Lodge and the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, as well as Local UAW 663.Survivors include his wife of 56 years: LaDonna Rose (Mason) Chambless of Middletown, 1 son: Jeffrey (Kristi) Chambless of Middletown and 1 daughter: Robyn (Donald) Pierce of Englewood, Ohio, 5 grandchildren: Katlynn, Jonathan, Jakob, and Kamille Chambless of Middletown and Brady Pierce of Englewood, Ohio, 2 brothers: David (Donita) Chambless of Middletown and Fred (Charlotte) Chambless of Houston, TX, 2 sisters: Phyllis (Lee) Gilbert of Houston and Diane McCallister of Anderson, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister: Catherine Wilson and 1 grandson: Tyler Pierce.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
