Yorktown...Evelyn L. (Davis) King, 80, resident of Westminster Village, Yorktown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday at Ball Memorial Hospital.She was born in Anderson, March 8, 1927.She was a 1945 graduate of Middletown High School and recieved her nursing degree from Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.She was a member of a social soriity in Muncie, and was co-founder of Maple Village Nursing Home in Middletown.She was assistant Director of Nursing at Ball Hospital and was a member of the Elks and several bowling leagues.She loved to fish, golf and camp.Survivors include her husband of 50 years: F. Richard of Yorktown, 1 brother-in-law: Ronald King (Faustine) of Yorktown, sister-in-law: Nancy Cook of Springport, 4 nieces: Kera Saundes of Bowling Green, KY, Kathy Davis of Daleville, Kim Witty of Muncie and Kristi Davis of Springport.She was preceded in death by her parents: Wayne and Rhea Davis, 2 brothers: David and Billy Davis and her 1st husband: Kenny Green.Funeral services will be held at Elm Ridge Mausoleum Chapel in Muncie at 10:00 am Saturday morning with Rev.
