Anderson...Evelyn Jeanne (Hoppes)Copeland, 66, resident of Anderson, passed away July 5, 2003 at Americare Nursing Facility in Anderson after an extended illness.She was born in Madison County on December 9, 1936, the daughter of Richard E. and Gertrude R. Alley Hoppes.She had worked at Samsill Corporation in Ft. Worth Texas for over 10 years in the sewing department. She was a graduate of Apex Beauty School in Anderson. Besides her parents, she had been preceded in death by a son-in-law: Doug Nance, sisters: Marilyn Sue Hoppes, Wilma Russell, Her husband: James (Hoppy) Copeland, 1 son: Ronnie Gene Paschal. Survivors include: 1 sister: JoAnn (Dale) Fulk, Children: John Quinn of Texas, Dennis and Gene Pascal III of Anderson, Gena Nance of Middletown and Sherrie Stephens of Anderson, Donna Gipson of Oklahoma, and Cindy Long of Arizona, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren on the way, several nieces and nephews, many friends and family.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Miller Cemetery in Middletown with Rev.
