Middletown...Eunice Nathalie Reuwer Stevens, 80, resident of Middletown, passed away at her home on Friday evening after an extended illness.She was born June 25, 1923 in Annapolis, Maryland, the daughter of Theodore and Nathaliea Donaldson Reuwer.She attended high school in Baltimore and attended Catholic Business College.She was owner-operator of Stevens Orchard with her husband Bill for many years.She attended St. Anne Catholic Church in New Castle.She enjoyed reading, animals, gardening, cooking, swimming, and caring for her grandchildren.Survivors include a daughter: Barbara Stevens of Middletown, 1 son: Ron ""Beaver"" Stevens (Amanda) of Middletown, 1 grandson: Brent Stevens (Verenda) of Middletown, 1 granddaughter: Sonnie Stevens of Muncie, 3 step great grandchildren: Justin Baker and twins; Aliva and Cassie Bishop all of Middletown, 1 brother: Theodore Reuwer of Crofton, Maryland, 1 sister: Olive Branzel of Easternshore, Maryland, many nieces, nephews, and friends.Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bill Stevens in 1991.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN.
