Middletown....Eula Anna Wallen, 94, resident of Middletown, passed away at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Albany, Kentucky, Febrauary 7, 1926, the daughter of James Roscoe and Fratie Ellen Cowan Sloan
She attended school in Kentucky and was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hagerstown and loved to travel and camp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willie Wallen, son, John Kenneth Wallen, sisters, Sue Shelton, Ima Jean Sloan, brothers James Sloan and George Sloan.
Surviving are her children; Willie Horace, of Monticello, KY, Allen (Mechelle) of Kokomo, James "Larry" (Cheryl) of Middletown. Betty Clapp (Larry) of New Castle, Linda Wallen of Lapel, and Rita Lane (Charles) of Middletown, 2 sisters: Ruth Hill of New Castle and Martha Denny of Milton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown with burial in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, CDC guidelines will be followed both at the funeral home and the cemetery.
