He was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 110. Eugene was a long-time member of the Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren.

Having a love for travel, Eugene and Margaret, his wife of 72 years prior to her passing in 2018, traveled to many countries around the world and enjoyed spending their winters in Florida for nearly 30 years.

Eugene is survived by his three children, Gary (Carolyn) Pittsford, Gerald (Barbara) Pittsford and Marsha Graves; five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Mariellen Bietman and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. (Alexander)Pittsford in 2018; twin brothers, Keith Pittsford in 1935 and Kenneth Pittsford in 2012.
