Middletown...Estella May "Teddy" Keesling, 85, resident of Middletown, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 24, 2018.
She was born on January 19, 1933 in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of Golden and Esther (Patterson) Harry. She graduated from Lapel High School in 1952 and married her husband Norman on August 17, 1952, also in Lapel. In 1957 Norman and Teddy moved to Middletown to start a family and have resided there ever since.
She was a full time mother and homemaker and loved all things in nature and in life. She never knew a stranger and felt lead to help anyone in need. She was a kind and compassionate soul and because of her generous spirit, was loved by many.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Norman Keesling, two sons, David (Kim) Keesling and Dan (Angela) Keesling, her five grandchildren, Kaycie (Byron) Patrick, Kara (Dameon) Wyatt both of Middletown, Terri (Mac) Boeve of Holland, Michigan, Letty (Andy) Nestrick of
Evansville, Dan II (Kristia) Keesling of Newburgh and four step grandchildren, Caleb, Aaron, Rachel and Hannah Jessup from Shirley.
She also has 9 great grandchildren, Gavin and Gabrielle Patrick, Myles, Maddox, and Maxton Wyatt; Stella and Ruthie Nestrick; and Maelyn and Kamryn Keesling.
The remaining surviving family includes two sisters, Brenda (Steve) Noland and Gayle Dunn and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-8 PM at the at the funeral home.
