Anderson....Ernest Robert Whitmore, 88, resident of Anderson, passed away March 1, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor in Middletown.He was born in Sharon, PA, May 17, 1929, the son of Ernest L. and Ruth Mott Whitmore.He was a self employed contractor/builder and former building commissioner.He has lived in Anderson since 1961.Survivors are his wife: Velma Laverne (Clark) of Anderson, 1 son: William ""Bill"" Whitmore (Belinda) of Daleville, 2 grandchildren: Allen Whitmore (Julie) of Anderson and Johna Lee (Michael) of Anderson, 2 great grandchildren: Gavin Whitmore and Kaitelyn Lee, both of Anderson.There will be no public services.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to care for the family of Ernest Whitmore.
