Sulphur Springs, IN...Emma Lou Hedrick Bailey, 80, resident of Sulphur Springs, passed away Sunday at Heritage House Nursing Home in New Castle.She was born in Kennard, Indiana, August 21, 1930, the daughter of Delbert and Gertrude Hughes Hedrick.She attended school in New Castle and Cadiz and retired from General Motors of Delco Remy in Anderson in 1985 after 30 years of service.She had been in several bowling leagues and attend the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.Survivors include her husband of 54 years: Robert of Sulphur Springs, 2 daughters: Pamela Badgley (Joseph) of Spiceland and Deborah Jonas (Ronald) of Hagerstown, 2 sons: Robert E. Bailey, Jr. (Misty) of Peru and Ralph Edward Bailey (Karen) of Indianapolis, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, 4 sisters: Mary Nichols, Eva Bailey (Kenneth) and Diana Selmyer of Sulphur Springs and Gloria Burton of New Castle, 2 brothers: Melvin (Barbara) Hedrick of New Castle and Thomas Hedrick of Greensboro, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C.
