Middletown...Elizabeth Ann (Kimmerling) Thrawley, 85, longtime resident of Middletown, went to be the Lord on Saturday morning.She was born in Elwood, June 22, 1920, the daughter of Lora Lee and Nellie May Wilkins Kimmerling.She attended Anderson High School and work at Harvest Market and Eavey's Market in Middletown and Anderson.She was self employed as a realtor for many years in Middletown and was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church.She was a charter member of the Suburban Home Economics Club.She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1994, 2 brothers: Harold and John and 1 sister: Ruth Woodward.Survivors include: 1 daughter: Joyce (Joe) Bosman of Middletown and 1 son: Charles D. Thrawley of Anderson, 5 grandchildren: Gene (Shari) Vaught of Winter Haven, FL, Brad (Joyce) Vaught of Daleville, Greg (Lisa) Bosman of Murphysboro, TN, Beth (Malcom) Harvey of Bell Buckle, TN, and Teri (Pat) Shelton of Greenville, TN, 12 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 1 sister: Martha Powell of Ft. Myers, FL and 1 brother: Bill Kimmerling of Centre, AL, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Jeff Landon officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Middletown.Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon until the time of the services.Memorial contributions may be made to the Middletown United Methodist Church or the St. Johns Hospice.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
