Anderson...Elizabeth Ann (Welch) Lockridge, 70, resident of Anderson. passed away at her home on Sunday morning after a brief illness.She was born in Anderson, January 31, 1945, the daughter of Martin and Martha White Welch.She was a 1963 graduate of Anderson High School and worked as a secretary for Sony for over 14 years before her retirement in 2010.She was a member of Connection Pointe Church and was a volunteer with the Madison County Humane Society.She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Terry Dwayne Lockridge of Anderson, 2 daughters: Eschell and Nicole of Anderson, 1 son: Trent of Anderson, 2 grandchildren: Robyn Ashton Lockridge and Joseph Treyson Lockridge both of Anderson, 2 great grandchildren Kensley and Kailynn Hutchison.A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Connection Pointe Church in Anderson with Pastor Timothy Bailey officiating.Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown and one hour before the services on Wednesday at the church.Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.Memorials may be made to Connection Pointe Church.The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Eddy and the Sixth Floor nursing staff of St. Vincent's Regional Hospital for their care and comfort.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Elizabeth with family and friends.
