Middletown...Eileen Deloris (Trees) Redding, 86, resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday evening at The Living Petals healthcare facility in Sulphur Springs, after an extended illness.She was born in Greenfield. IN, April 23, 1922, the daughter of Everett Hatfield and Cora Ballenger Trees.She was a 1940 graduate of Charlottesville High School and worked at Delco Remy as controller as well as in the Shenandoah Schools cafeteria.She was also an Avon Dealer.She moved to Middletown in 1945 and was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church and the Ladies Aid.Survivors include 2 daughters: Marcia (Daniel) Randolph and Phyllis (Steve) Keesling of Middletown, 1 son: Dennis (Lisa) Redding of Middletown, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and 1 special friend: Norman Edwards of Carthage.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Dallas L. Redding in 1991, and 3 sisters.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Larry Green officiating assisted by Pastor Marty Ballard.Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery near Middletown.Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Valley Christian Church, Middletown EMS or Living Petals Healthcare through the funeral home.Online Guestbook at:
