Effie Fountain Clem

Middletown...Effie Fountain Clem, 95, resident of Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died July 14, 2004 at the nursing home after an extended illness.She was born in Moonsville, Indiana, November 10, 1908, the daughter of Walter Lee and Nancy O. Noble Fountain.She had retired as a cook from Northwestern Schools (Shenandoah) working for over 25 years at Fairfield Elementary School.She was preceded in death by her husband Semion Boyd Clem in 1957 and 2 daughters: Nancy Burton and Vera Puckett.Survivors include 2 daughter: Norma C. Reedy and Helen (Phillip) Noble, both of Middletown, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev.
