Middletown...Edith Lavonne (Lewis) Williams, 85, longtime resident of the Middletown area, passed away early Friday morning at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown after an extended illness.She was born in Springfield, ILL, December 7, 1920, the daughter of Sanford M. and Elma DeLong Lewis.She had been a cook at Miller's Merry Manor for several years and a member of the Suburban Home Economics Club and the Mechanicsburg United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Williams in 1990.Survivors include one son: Kenny Williams (Patti) of Middletown and 1 daughter: Sandra Parks (Kent) of Silver Lake, IN, 3 grandchildren: Natalie Conners (Mark) of Valporaiso, IN, Audra Ogle (Mark) of Middletown and Mary Kay Williams (fiance: Chas Wellman III) of Shreveport, LA, 2 step grandchildren: Loni O'Hara (Dan) of Silver Lake and Ken Parks (Pam) of Anderson, 4 step greatgrandchildren: Andy O'Hara, Jesse and Lindsey O'Hara, all of Silver Lake and Ashley Parks of Anderson, 1 great granddaughter: Layla LeAnn Ogle of Middletown, 1 sister: Edna Garris of Pendleton and 1 niece and 1 nephew.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. David Whitteberry officiating.Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from noon until the time of the services.Memorial contributions may be made to the Water's Edge Youth Group of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.Online Guestbook:
