Middletown....Edith Leora (Brown) Werking, 88 resident of Middletown, passed away December 13, 2020 at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Anderson. She was born in Bone Gap, Illinois, July 8, 1932, the daughter of Willard C. and Paralee (Brent) Brown. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and retired from General motors after 40 years.
She has lived in Middletown for over 60 years.
Survivors are her children, Karen Barkdull (Tony) of Middletown and Pam Cassity (Bryan) of Muncie, grandchildren, Amanda Bishir of Anderson and Stephanie Bishir of Ortonville, MN, 2 great grandchildren, Trey Richardson and Audrey Marion, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd Werking, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 3:00 at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville.
