Edith Lou Froman

Daleville...Edith Lou Pierce Froman passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on July 19, 2018 at the age of 91. She had suffered with multiple health issues for the last five years.
She was born on May 6, 1927 in Indianapolis to Ella Mae Graham Pierce and Charles Herschel Pierce. She was the second child and oldest daughter in her family of nine children.
During the depression, the family moved to Kentucky living near Burkesville. When Edith was 17 she moved back to Indiana and worked for General Motors for 30 years. In 1946 she married Robert E. Froman and was blessed with three children.
She was preceded in death by her husband and 5 siblings: Herbert Pierce, Maxine Koman Mitchell, Gladys Radford Brewer, Charles Norman Pierce and Doris Brunner.
She is survived by her daughters:: Sharon Rose (Bernie), and Teresa Tomlinson and son Charles Richard Froman, 3 grandchildren: Deborah Francis (Rick), Stephen D. Rose (Michelle), Evan Tomlinson (Holly), 3 great grandchildren: Payton Rose, Haley Rose and Logan Francis, sister: Uldene Scott and 2 brothers: Lonnie Pierce and Shannon Pierce.
Edith lived most of her life in the Anderson/Daleville area. She loved babies and her grandchildren and loved to cook and travel. She always had a smile, was a Christian and loved to listen to Gospel music.
Friends and family may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut in Daleville on Wednesday July 25, 2018, from 11-2.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM following the visitation. The Rev. Jon Hudson of Fishers will officiate.
Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson
