Daleville...Earl Mayhew. 65, resident of Daleville, went home to be with his Savior at his residence on December 11, 2016. He was born in Norwich, Ct, March 15, 1951 the son of Earl and Celia Harris Mayhew.He was a member of Westside United Baptist Church in Muncie and attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Anderson.He was a US Army Veteran serving from 1968 to 1970 and took his basic training in Ft. Jackson, SC.He enjoyed driving motor coaches, cooking, and spending time with family, traveling and water sports.He was an over the road truck driver for over 30 years and had 3 Million accident free miles.Survivors are his wife of 15 years: Beulah of Daleville, Sons: Jason Mayhew of Stockbridge, MA and Todd (Amy) Mayhew of Pittsfield, MA, step son: Jason Thompson (Sarah), grandchildren: Gabrielle, Dylan and Caitlyn, step grandchildren: Ayden and Ethan, sister: Kathy (Bill) Anderson of Hampden Sydney, VA and brother: Mark Mayhew (Barbara) of Wimberly, TX, special Aunt: Anita Brock, mother in law:Hazel Coffey.He was preceded in death by his parents.A Celebration of his life will occur on Friday at Noon at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville.
