Daleville...Dorris Lee (Hall) Shipley, 76, resident of Daleville, passed away May 10, 2017 at her residence.She was born in Portageville, Missouri, April 28, 1941, the daughter of Roy and Irene Corgan Hall.She was a 1959 graduate of Anderson High School and retired from General Motors after 25 years of services.She was a member of the Redhat Society, Kappa Sigma Beta, American Legion, Eagles, VFW, Party Animals Card Club, Amvets, and Chesterfield Community Church of God.She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen in 2012, 4 brothers, son: Darren, Granddaughter: Bryanne Box and grandson: Stevie Crum and four sisters.Survivors are 3 children: Kelly (Bobby) Bevelhimer of Fairmount, Deborah Turner of Daleville and David Lennis of Daleville, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren, 4 sisters: Rita Livingston of Texas, Judi (Nelson) Johnson of Oklahoma, Laura Johnson of Oklahoma and Barbara Longstreth of Ohio, several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Todd Faulkner officiating.Friends may call from noon until the time of the services on Tuesday.Memorials may be made to the wounded Warriors Foundation.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comthe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Dorris with family and friends.
