Middletown...Doris Aileen Carwile, 77, resident of Middletown, died Monday at St. Johns Medical Center after an extended illness.She was born in Decatur County, May 6, 1926, the daughter of Russell and Velma Robbins Burk.She had lived in Middletown for 2 years and was a graduate of Wilkinson High School.She had retired from Winter Brothers Material Company in 1968 in Fenton, Mo.Survivors are: 1 daughter; Diane Lowry of Middletown and 1 son; John Cook of Indianapolis, 4 grandchildren; David W. Lowry of Chesterfield, Jerry D. Lowry of Shirley, Hilary A. Cook of Anderson and Brenda J. Cook of Indianapolis, 5 great grandchildren.
