Donna Elaine Whitehead

Monticello, Kentucky...Donna Elaine (Jenkins) Whitehead, 43, resident of Monticello, Kentucky, died unexpectedly Saturday at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.She was born in Anderson, February 3, 1961, the daughter of Ezekiel and Margie Ella Sue Slempt Jenkins.She was employed a Cagles Keystone in Albany, Kentucky where she was assistant shipping manager.She had at one time attended the Markleville North Christian Church and was active in the Somerset Humane Society in Kentucky.Survivors include her husband of 8 years: Michael Edward of Monticello, Kentucky, Her father and step-mother: Ezekiel and Dottie Jenkins of Kingsport, TN, 1 daughter: Michelle (Toby) Sheets of Anderson and 1 son: Brad (Sheila) Bever of Monticello, KY, 2 step-sons: Gabriel Whitehead, (Deployed in Iraq) and Joseph (Brandi) Whitehead, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, 1 step-grandson: John Michael Whitehead of Ft. Campbell, 3 sisters: Sandy (Jim) Alexander of Anderson, Kim (Ron) Keffer of Anderson and Debbie Turner of Elizabethton, TN, 1 brother: David (Veronica) Jenkins of Anderson, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 am at Markleville North Christian Church in Markleville.Friends may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, on Wednesday from 5-9 PM and one hour before the services at the church.Memorials may be made to any Humane Society in her honor.Online Guestbook available at: www.ballardandsons.com
