Chesterfield...Donna Sue (Miller) Wendling, 83, resident of Chesterfield, passed away Monday at Community Hospital after a brief illness.She was born in Chesterfield, May 7,. 1933, the daughter of Carl and Mabel Baldwin Miller. She was a 1951 graduate of Daleville High School and retired from General Motors in Anderson after over 30 years of service.She was a member of the Chesterfield American Legion Aux. #408.She was preceded in death by her husband Edd,her parents, 1 sons: Aaron Downey and a brother: Bill Fleetwood.Survivors are two children: Tony Atwell (Dianna) and Valerie Atwell of Chesterfield, 2 grandchildren: Anthony Atwell of Chesterfield and Abby (Jake Graham) of Anderson and a niece: Donna Moore.Also a special friend and caregiver: Tonya Lester.A Celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Ned Clark officiating.Burial will follow in Bronnenburg Cemetery in Chesterfield.Friends may call on Saturday from noon until the time of the services at the funeral home..Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Donna with family and friends.
