Donna Weiss

Daleville - Donna M. Weiss, 83, of Daleville, Indiana, passed away on March 1st, 2021 surrounded by her family at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.

Donna was born in Greensfork, Indiana on August 30, 1937. She graduated from Greensfork High School and married Edward F Weiss on September 17, 1955. They began farming as newlyweds.  They moved their family to Daleville in 1966 when they became very involved in construction equipment. Ed & Donna became the co-owners of Dabney & Weiss Equipment, and later became the sole owners of Weiss Machinery.

In 2001, Donna started a family business called Tractorstuff, selling parts for construction equipment.

Most of all, Donna loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was selfless, devoted and loved by all who knew her.

She is proceeded in death by husband, Ed Weiss, Parents, Richard and Mary Bryan, Brother Neil Bryan and Son in Law Mike Myers.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Myers, Barb (husband Duane) Jackson, Dale Weiss, and Brenda (husband Mark) Jordan. She had 5 Grandsons: Kyle (wife Layne) Jackson; Chris (wife Valerie) Myers, Brad (wife Amber) Myers; Adam (wife Jayme) Jordan and Austin Jordan (fiancée Crystal Craig).  7 Great Grandchildren: Owen Thompson, GuyAnna Myers, Collin Myers, Caitlyn Myers, Reagan Jackson, Beau Jordan and Arlo Jordan.  Siblings: Phyllis Beers, Evelyn Sharp, Marietta Hoskins, Carolyn Stewart, Duane Bryan and Linda Cowan.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 5th, 2021 at Ballard & Sons Funeral Home 8212 W Walnut St. Daleville, Indiana. Burial will follow at Saunders Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to service time from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. with Pastor Mike Barker officiating.

Social distancing and masks will be required.
