Chesterfield...Donna Rae Shipley,80, resident of Millers Merry Manor of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday morning.She had lived in the Anderson/Chesterfield area since 1955 and had worked in the accounting office of Ft. Benjamin Harrison for 19 years retiring in 1985.She was born in Vincennes, Indiana, May 7, 1934, the daughter of Charles N. and Virginia Manning McMillen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Charles, sons: Jason, 3 grandchildren: Ricky, JR., Kristopher, and Sebastian, sisters: Carolyn and jean and 1 brother: Jerry.Survivors include 3 children: Terry (Ricky) McNally of Anderson, Steven Shipley of Chesterfield and Diane Shipley of Chesterfield, 4 brothers: Charles H. McMillen of Illinois, Richard McMillen of Alabama, Tom McMillen of Illinois, and John McMillen of Illinois, 1 sister: Virginia Powell of Indiana, grandchildren: Jennifer (Dave) Scarberry, Monica (Josh) Noll, Hayley Franklin and 4 great grandchildren: Rikki McNally, Erin Scarberry, Charles Deann Noll and Patrick Noll.A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard & Sons, 8212 South Walnut St, Daleville with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Bronnenburg Cemetery in Chesterfield.Friends may call from noon until the time of the services.
