Donna Carper passed away December 19, 2021 at her residence in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on August 10, 1948 to the late Richard "Dick" and Marybelle "Peggy" (Pearson) Poffenbarger.
Donna loved her savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of ITOWN Church and enjoyed going to small group. She loved to cook, play pool and to drive antique tractors. Donna also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and going to the beach.
She is survived by her sons; Mark (Shawna) Carper from Frankton and Chance Carper of New Castle; daughter, Jerra (Cameron) Hoff of Indianapolis; grandkids, Jade (Sean) Carroll, Brandon Carper, Dylan Carper, Alyssa Minnick, Kiersten Carper, Meaghan Carper, Gabriel Carper, Mason Carper and Alexavier Carper; brothers, Tim Schiewe of Virginia and Richard Poffenbarger of Florida; sister, Susanna (Bob) Shepherd of Texas; and Jim Poffenbarger of Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ray Poffenbarger and granddaughter, Loretta Carper.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Derek Lopez and Phil Rogers officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the ITOWN Church.
