Middletown...Donald Edward Rice, Jr., 52, resident of Middletown, passed away August 11, 2018 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.
He was born in New Castle, Indiana, February 19, 1966, the son of Donald Rice and Patricia Ann Campbell.
He was a 1981 graduate of Shenandoah High School and worked as a mechanic most of his life. He worked for Harvey's Construction, Switzer Tank Lines, McCrocklin Ford, and Bendle's Lawn Equipment.
He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia.
He is survived by his wife Roberta of Middletown, father: Donald of New Castle, brother: Adam Rice (Megan) of Middletown, Nieces and nephews: Kyle, Elizabeth and Rider, 1/2 brother: Chuck Hildebrandt, God daughters: Marissa Weber (fiance' Adam Flening), God grandchildren: Aubrey, Weston of Alexandria and Terra Weber of Middletown.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am, at Miller Cemetery,
Friends may call on Thursday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown from 4-8 PM.
