Anderson....Donald Keith Parrish, 83, longtime Florida and Middletown resident, passed away Tuesday at Bethany Pointe Healthcare Center in Anderson.He was born in Noblesville, September 2, 1932, the son of Wilbert and Dessa Mae Partlow Parrish.He was a 1951 graduate of Middletown High School and retired from General Motors (Delco Remy) in 1972 after 21 years of services.He lived over 27 years in Florida and played basketball for the Middletown Cossacks. He was a member of the UAW 662 and Calvary Baptist Church of Noblesville.Survivors are his children: Kathy Manley of Edwardsburg, MI and Donna (Brian) Wine of Sulphur Springs, IN, 3 sisters: Joann Lovett of Chesterfield, Billie Cox and Nancy Girt of Anderson, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildrfen, his dog: Abby.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Margaret and 2 sons: Rodney and Jerry., 1 brother: Richard and 2 sisters: Betty Godfried and Marjorie Fadley.A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Josh Parrish officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.Online Guestbook is available at:
