Donald W. Kelley

June 2, 1945 — October 3, 2019

Donald "Kelley" W. Kelley, 74 of Middletown passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.  He was born June 2, 1945 in Anderson, a son of the late Thomas Edward and Anna Marie Kelley.

Kelley had attended Madison Heights High School and graduated from Ivy Tech in 1982 with an associate degree in appliance repair. He was a veteran of the US Army from 1969 to 1971.  Kelley was an avid pool player and enjoyed visits to the casino.

Kelley is survived by his children, Shelly (Mark Ballenger) Kimmerling, Marcy (Andre) Gaines and Kyle Haskell; grandchildren, Emelia Nicholson, Lizy (Nick) Schmidt, Aimee (Chance) Reagan, Felicia (Adam) Tapper, Cody Riggs, Andrew Haskell and Kylee (Cody) Brunson; great grandchildren, Sawyer and Burkley Reagan, Zoe Schmidt and Bentley Brunson; bonus grandchildren, Kyla (Ryan) Oakes, Todd, Josh and Jessica Ballenger; bonus great grandchildren, Melanie, Reece, Emma, and Anna Oakes; sister-in-law, Teresa (Dale) Mason.

In addition to his parents, Kelley was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Kelley and son, Timothie Kelley.

Services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday October 8, 2019 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. 5th St. Middletown with minister, Andre Gaines officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion and the US Army.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 11-1 on Tuesday.
