Anderson...Donald R. Austin, 72, resident of Anderson, passed away October 18, 2015 at his residence.He was born in New Richland, Indiana, August 25, 1943, the son of Cecil and Jesse Simmons Austin.He was a graduate of Pittsboro High School and worked as a trucker and building contractor.He attended the Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren, a member of the Teamsters Union and drove for Consolidated Freight at one time.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Leroy Austin and Mike Austin and a sister: Phyllis Clements.He is survived by his wife: Betty (Richman) of Anderson, 2 children: Bradley Austin (Casey) of Angola and Lee Ann Hughes (Lewis) of Lima, OH, stepchildren: Ezra and Stacey Buck of Muncie, Roy (April) Buck of Green Valley, MO and Kim Buck of Muncie, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastors Dennis Hilton and Phillip Clements officiating.
