Donald Eugene Anderson

Daleville...Donald Eugene Anderson, 79, resident of Daleville, passed away unexpectedly October 21, 2007 at Ball Memorial Hospital.He was born in Muncie, Indiana, February 26, 1928, the son of James and Vera Richmond Anderson.He was a 1945 graduate of Muncie Central High School and worked for over 22 years in the custodial department of Daleville Schools.He attended Purdue University for one years and loved auto racing especially Nascar. He al farmed and drove a school bus for many years.He attended the Daleville Christian Church.Survivors include his wife of 22 years: Mary Alice of Daleville, 1 son: Rick Anderson (Debbie) of Daleville, 1 daughter: Karen Irelan (Daniel) of Daleville and 2 stepsons: Stephen Gindhart (Johnna) of Anderson and Jeffrey Gindhart of Daleville, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut, Daleville with Rev. Gary McManus officiating.Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM and from noon unitl the time of the services on Thursday.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Associaition or the American Lung Associsition.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
