Delores June Walters passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was born in New Castle on November 25, 1936 a daughter of the late James and Etta (Davis) Dalton.
Delores was a member of the Middletown Baptist Church. She retired from Liebhardt Mills and enjoyed life with her husband and family.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Walters of Middletown; and her sister, Carolyn Sue (Dick) Alexander of Albany; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Vernell Walters; sister, Fayrene Robinson; son, Jeffery Dale Walters and granddaughter, Kerry Lynn Smith.
Services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, November 8, 2021 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with David Waters and Marty Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until the time of service.
