Delora Jane Hale

Middletown...Delora Jane (Humphrey) Hale, 79, resident of Middletown, passed away Saturday morning at her residence after an extended illness.She was born August 2, 1932, the daughter of Donald Fay and Emma Price Humphrey in Fairfield,IL.She graduated from Fairfield High School and retired from Ft. Benjamin Harrison. She also worked as a cook at Shenandoah Schools.She was active in the Red Hatters and a member of the Sixth Street Christian Cdhurch.Survivors include 3 sons: Larry Shinabarger of Middletown, Bruce Shinabarger (Elizabeth) of Marion and Chris Shinabarger of Middletown, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother: Billy and her husband: Robert Hale.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN with Rev.
