Chesterfield...David J. Riley, 73, resident of Chesterefield, passed away Monday morning at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.He was born in Anderson, IN, July 2, 1937, the son of James R. and Martha Jackson Riley.He was an Anderson High School graduate of 1955 and retired from Chevrolet (New Ventrue Gear) in Muncie in 1988.He was a US Army Veteran and lived in Chesterfield since 1964.He was preceded in death by a son: John David Riley and his wife: Betty Wells Riley in 2008.Survivors include a brother: Richard H. (Carolyn) Riley of Anderson, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St, Daleville, with Pastor Jack Holliday officiating.Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery near Middletown.Friends may call one hour before the services at the funeral home.Memorials to American Heart Society.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
