Yorktown....David Hunter Maxwell, 80, resident of Golden Living Center, Muncie, passed away Monday morning at the center. He was born in Glenellen, Illinois, November 20, 1932, the son of Clyde and Edna Hunter Maxwell.He was a graduate of Glenellen High School and a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean Conflict.He served as a truck driver for Reith Riley for many years.He was a member of the American Legion of Rushville and Hinkley Lodge, F & AM in Minnesota.Survivors are his wife: Helen Elaine of Yorktown, 4 children: Joan Norris of Burston, CA, Shelly Lewis (Todd) of Daleville, Nicole Maxwell (Chris) of Madison, WI and Clyde Maxwell (Julie) of Rushville, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Gene Weisbrock of Coloma, WI and Patricia Welbourne (Warren) of Brook Park, MN.He was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Melissa Maxwell, his parents, 1 great grandchild and 2 brothers: Robert and John.A Gathering of friends will take place on Saturday from 1-3 at Raleigh Christian Church, 4019 East 900 N, Rushville, IN with a Celebration of Life memorial service at 3:00 at the church with Rev.
