Muncie...David Edward Kennedy, 63, resident of Muncie, passed away Tuesday, February 16 at Community Hospital in Anderson after a sudden illness.He was born April 18, 1952 in New Castle the son of James and Margaret Huser Kennedy of Middletown.He attended Sulphur Springs High School until the consolidation and graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1970.He was a toolmaker all his life, starting at Yorktown Tool and Die, his father's business. He fisnished his career at D-1 Mold and Tool in Alexandria.He is survived by his wife: Kathleen, daughter: Lori Beth (Dave) Knox of Noblesville, 2 sons: Jeremy (Jen) Mohler of Ft. Wayne and Kyle Kennedy of Florida, three grandchildren: Tori, Matt, and Jaxson, 1 sister: Sharon (Mike) Cookman of Anderson, 1 brother: Gary (Treva) Kennedy of Middletown, an Aunt: Bonnie Harrell of Indianapolis. Also his mother-in-law: Shirley Frame of Muncie and brother-in-law: Mike Frame of Florida and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Kevin Cookman officiating.Burial will follow in Springport Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-3 on Saturday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers you may donate to: Animal Rescue Shelter, 1209 West Riggin Road, Muncie, IN 47303.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of David Kennedy with family and friends.
