Middletown...David C. Flynn, 63, resident of Middletown, passed away Friday morning at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson after a brief illness.He was born in Henry County, July 30, 1942, the son of Dewey and Margaret Caylor Flynn.He was a 1960 graduate of Moreland High School and retired in 1987 from Delco Remy in Anderson where he was a supervisor for many years.He was a veteran of the US Army holding the rank of Specialist 4.He was a member of the American Rifle association, the National Muscle Car Assoc., and loved music, building and racing cars and hunting.Survivors include his wife of 41 years: Betty of Middletown, 2 daughters: Brenda (Michael) Talkington and Beth (Eric) Lohrey of Middletown, and 2 sons: Brian (Patty) Flynn and Brent (Jan) Flynn of Middletown, 9 grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Dewey (Joyce) Flynn of Sulphur Springs, Stanley (Carol) Flynn of Muncie, Barry Flynn of Richmond, Bonnie (Hank) Lepper of Hunterstown and Jean Dicken of Middletown, several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 1 brother: Bruce and 1 sister: Terry.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
