Middletown...David Lee "Crockett" Emswiller, 53, resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday morning at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Anderson. He was born in Muncie, February 24, 1965 and his parents were Bobby and Betty Gothard Emswiller. He attended Shenandoah High School and worked for many years at Liebhardt Mills as well as BRS heating and Air Conditioning where he was an apprentice.
He was a faithful Joel Osteen ministries supporter and loved drag racing. He loved WWE Wrestling. He was preceded in death by a brother: Frankie Cook and a sister Carol Anderson.
Survivors are his wife: Tamara Lynn (Tragesser) of Middletown, his dog: Buddy B, mother in law: Nancy Tragesser, brother and sister in laws: Doug Darlene Tragesser, Tim and Gloria Schroeder, and Brad and Carrrie Dickey, brothers Donny Potter, Arley Glen Hindman and David Emswiller, sister: Vicky Richeson and Sue Ann Gross, several nieces and nephews.
He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend.
Services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Friends may call from Noon until the time of the services on Friday.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
