Middletown....David Lee Brummett, 53, resident of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.He was born October 16, 1960, the son of James and Doris Jean Spell Brummett.He had been self employed for many years in contracting and roofing.He attended Shenandoah High School and attended the Columbus Avenue Church of Christ and the Meadowbrook Church of Christ.Survivors are his wife: Lynette Dawn Kinser Brummett of Middletown, children: Brook Brummett and Ashley Brummett (Terance Turner) of Anderson and Zachariah Brummett of Middletown, 3 grandchildren: Alexis Price, Ra'Shawn and Cheyenne Turner, 2 brothers: Roy of Middletown and James Ray of Elkhart, 1 sister: Sandy Brummett of Middletown.A celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard & Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Jim Harrison officiating.Burial will follow in MIller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com and Facebook/Ballard & Sons, Life Celebration, Counseling, Funerals and Cremation.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of David Lee Brummett with family and friends.
