Elwood...Dana Leonard Smiley,58, resident of Elwood, passed away Tuesday evening at his residence.He was born October 31, 1955 in Anderson, IN the son of Julian and Vera Borders Smiley.He retired from State Plating in Elwood in 2005 after 25 years of service.He attended Zion Chapel in Elwood and was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his wife of 35 years: Terresa (Wilson) of Elwood, sons: Jeremy Smiley (Kristi) and Jacob Smiley of Daleville, 4 grandchildren: Cheyenne, Lexie, Haley and Dominique, 2 sisters: Connie Shellabarger of Daleville and Julie Parton of Anderson.A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday at 6:00 PM at Ballard and Sons, 8212 South Walnut, Daleville.Friends may call one hour before the services.Memorials may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com or Facebook/Ballard and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Dana Smiley with family and friends.
