Daleville...Dallas L. Wilson, 70, Daleville, passed away peacefull Friday afternoon at his residence with his family at his side. He fought a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.He was born in Pulaski County, KY, February 18, 1940, the son of Homer and Olive Harris Wilson.He was well know as the owner of Daleville Furniture for many years and ran many auctions in the area.He was very proud of his sons and daughter-in-laws and the joy of his life was his grandchildren.He married the love of his life, Marilyn Hamilton on January 30, 1960.He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Carthel Wilson.He was a member of the Daleville Christian Church and served as Deacon and Chairman of the Church Council, Indiana Auctioneers Association, and Crossroads Preservation Association.He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Marilyn (Hamilton) Wilson of Daleville, 3 sons: Greg (Debra) Wilson, Michael ""Barry"" (Teresa) Wilson and Chris (Susan) Wilson all of Daleville, mother-in-law: Dorothy Hamilton of Spiceland, brother-in-law: Jim (Vickie) Hamilton of Greenwood, 2 brothers: Eugene (Sandy) and Duane (Shirley) Wilson of Science Hill, KY, 12 grandchildren: Dane, Derek, Daron, Damen, Lindsey, Jacob, Lauren, Sydney, Mallory and Hayden Wilson, Taylor and Tori Adams, several nieces and nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Daleville Christin Church in Daleville with Rev. Gary McManus officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, east of Daleville.Friends may call at the church on Monday from 2-7 PM.Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Daleville Chapel.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
