Daleville...Dale Ray ""Tex"" Bertram, 59, resident of the Daleville/Chesterfield area, passed away Saturday in Kentucky, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.He was born in New Castle, IN February 13, 1948, the son of Donald O. and Thelma New Bertram.He was a 1966 graduate of Middletown High School and retired from Delco Remy in 1999 after 30 years of service.Besides motorcycle riding, Dale loved golfing and scuba diving.He was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam and a member of the VFW, American legion and the Moose Lodge.He is survived by his mother: Thelma Bertram of Muncie, brother: Danny ""Vic"" (Suzy) Bertram of Anderson and a sister: Donna (Phil) Stephens of Muncie.He was preceded in death by his father: Donald and his wife: Patricia.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Marty Ballard officiating.
