Daleville...Daisy Mary Francis Weaver Smith, 83, resident of Daleville, passed away July 6. 2018 at her home. She was born in Tomberlin, Ark, October 16, 1934, the daughter of Luke and Cecil B Weaver.
She was a 1953 graduate of Alexandria Monroe High School and owner of Lost Lake Campground for many years. She was a volunteer at the Daleville Christian Church Daycare as well as the Daleville Elementary School. She was a member of the Daleville Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 2015.
Survivors are her children: Nathan Smith of Middletown, Steve (Joy) Smith of Baypoint, CA and Stephanie Boots of Columbus, Indiana, a special daughter: Shawn Smith, 5 grandchildren,: Danielle, Bree, Alex(Diana), Lindsay and Dustin and 4 great grandchildren: Jonah, Isla, Tyler and Armani as well as her special friends: "The Girls of 53."
Memorials may be made to the Daleville Christian Church Daycare or the Daleville Elementary School.
At Mary's request there will be no public services.
