Muncie...Cynthia Kaye (Quirk) Michael, 66, resident of the Muncie area, died April 9, 2005 at her home after a brief illness.She was born in Muncie, September 15, 1938, the daughter of Vern and Jeannette Whitney Quirk.She was a 1956 graduate of Cowan High School and attended Tabor Baptist Church. She was a member of the Board of Trustees of Hillcroft Industries for 12 years and was a foster parent from 1974-1982. She owned and operated Michael's Country Fresh Noodles from 1986 to 2002.She also gave swimming lesson from 1981-1994.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Donald P. and Sherman V. Quirk and sisters: Anna Lyonors Perrin and Rebecca Elizabeth Keesling as well as a grandson: Cameron Shirey.She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Arvin Earl Michael of Muncie, Children: Timothy Paul Michael, wife: Karen (Ashton)of Muncie, Tod Arvin Michael of Indianapolis, Troy Vincent Michael, wife: Lory (Lenig) of Muncie, Marla Jeanne Shirey, husband, Edward Joe of Mooreland, Richard Reynolds Michael of Muncie and Nathan Russell Michael of Daleville, Grandchildren: Jessica Lynn Watson, husband Jacob Roderick of Middletown, Justin Timothy Michael of Muncie, fiance, Jennifer Raye Atkinson of Middletown, Kayla Leigh, Tayler Ashton, Jared Arvin, Grant Alan, Grace Ann, Gretta Ann, Gwen Abigail, Greer Annabelle and Glory Ada Michael, all of Muncie, Molly Jo, Lauren Beth, Amy Jeanne, Lacy Kaye, Drew Michael and Vince Edward Shirey, all of Mooreland, great great grandchild: BayLeigh Renee' Watson of Middletown, Foster grandchildren: Christine Katherine Conn and Robert Michael O'Donnell of Muncie, brother: Michael Joe Quirk of Muncie and sister: Charlotte Vail Creech of Indianapolis.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday at Tabor Baptist Church, 10500 South 300 West, Muncie with Pastor Jim Sandberg officiating.Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Buck Creek Pike near Mt.
