Cynthia Howard

Cynthia (Worley) Howard, 65 , of Daleville passed away on Monday, April 8th, 2024. She was born June 16th, 1958, in Salem, Indiana to the late Glen and Geneva Worley.

She served in the National Guard for 10 years and retired from Ball State University in 2022. Cindi was a devoted mom and grandma. Her daughter, grandson and son-in-law were her entire world. She loved flowers and plants and could almost always name any flower she saw. She was an avid reader, with the Harry Potter series being her favorite, a passion she shared with her daughter. She enjoyed traveling and was always interested to visit a new place when the opportunity came up, especially if she could go with family. Cindi was incredibly resourceful and handy, oftentimes figuring out how to handle home projects on her own including installing flooring, wallpapering and painting. She loved singing and karaoke and was always the life of the party wherever she went. Cindi had a wonderful sense of humor and had a laugh you could hear from a mile away.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Ellie Fields (Derrek); grandson, Vaughn Fields; 2 sisters, Sherry Howard (Benny) and Dianne Quick (Guy); one brother, Kevin Worley and many nieces and nephews.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents and sister Denise Gilliatt.

Services will be at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home Daleville Chapel.
