Curtis Howard West

Middletown....Curtis Howard West, 81, resident of Middletown passed away October 27th, 2020 at his home. He ws born in Auburn, Indiana, December 29, 1938, the son of Fisher Curtis and Marian L. Williams West.
He received his BA from Indiana University and a MA in Library Science from Purdue University. He taught math for 24 years at the Indiana Reformatory and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He attended the Frist Baptist Church of Middletown..
He was a veteran of the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael West and grandson Zachary West.
Survivors are his wife Rebecca of Middletown, children: Elizabeth West of Middletown, James West (Jennifer) of Ellisville, MO, Mary Anderson of Anderson, Bethany McNeal (Matthew) of Anderson, and Joseph Anderson of Anderson, grandchildren; Olivia West, Sophia McNeal, Malachi McNeal, Oisin McNeal, sisters Marilyn Hall, Barbara West, and Mary Skelton and brother John West (Margo), several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
The family request no flowers due to allergies and to maintain CDC guidelines at the cemetery.
